Cableville, USA

Picture
Below are clips from our televised past. There's the video version of Joe, The Love Potato, a slideshow comic strip, Edie's appearance on "Johnny B on TV" and select pieces from Cableville USA, the show centered around the last town in America to get cable television.

But if you're interested in bigger, longer, and altogether more substantial blasts from the past, check out complete episodes of "Cableville, USA," the program Gary D. Christenson of The Chicago Tribune called "the cream of a bumper crop of comedy shows" when you visit our youtube page at: http://www.youtube.com/user/ducklogiccomedy.

Joe, the love potato

Picture
Here's the video version of "Breakfast With  Joe" made famous on Jonathan Brandmeier's Morning Radio Show on WLUP in Chicago and featured many times on The Dr. Demento Show. Enjoy.

Edie, The Breakfast Fairy

Picture
Here's Edie, The Breakfast Fairy as she was seen on "Johnny B On TV!" which aired on NBC. Unfortunately the producers of the show decided not to have the food info delivered by one of Edie's comedy cohorts, but Anne did a great job flying solo.

COMIX Slideshow

While Dave-id created most of the art on this site and beyond, this cool comic strip was both drawn and written by Jim. Walter set it to music in a slideshow and Dave-id hit it with some color. It seems to sum up Jim's thoughts on the meaning of "Duck Logic" rather well. Go Jim! Draw and write some more!

Night of the living deadheads

Picture
This is from an episode #1 of Cablevile, USA. Originally a radio bit for Johnny's show that went on to be played across the country.  We thought it would work really well for video... so we re-used it.
Why the hell not?

the zip code channel presents: Mail Bag

Picture
This comes from episode #3 of Cableville, USA. Anne plays Felicia Susmen, a woman with a cable access show airing on a channel that focuses on a pretty small niche audience. Jim is this week's guest--- local postman "Al." Tim plays his assistant.

The Amazing Gus

Picture
Also from episode #3. Played by Dave-id with a big nod to The Amazing Criswell's in Plan 9 From Outer Space, Gus was Cableville's resident psychic, known for his amazingly incorrect predictions.

Tab Razza's Back-To-SChool Sale

Picture
Jim as Tab... selling off all his family's stuff in Cableville #4. Watch closely and you'll notice Dave-id, Tim, and Mike playing multiple roles as Tab takes us on a tour of his house.
